Revision3 just debuted a new show called “Scam School” which they spin as a show about Magic tricks and ways to win bets, sort of. It’s hosted by a guy named Brian Brushwood, who is a professional magician.

I actually saw him perform several years ago at Georgia Tech and I bought his books which were along the same lines of his new show, including how to win free drinks at the bar and how to begin learning to breathe fire. Not to mention I remembered his domain name off the top of my head (no small feat since I haven’t been there in probably 3 or 4 years.)

I’m eager to see the first episode and where the show goes, looks like it is off to a good start though.

Ivan Drago from RockyThis week stands a good chance of breaking me. Not for stress level or for worry level, just shear amount of stuff on the horizon.

This weekend will be the ManaNation standard tournament, so I’ve got to further work on the plans for that and figure out just how it is all going to shake out.

ManaNation is really beginning to take off and I’ve got articles for Tuesday through Friday with the possibility of having to double up on a certain day. Which means editing, inputting and scheduling the articles. Multiple hours of work a day.

ManaNation is also recording tomorrow night, for a very special episode. I’m quite excited. However it is going to be recorded Tuesday and need to be edited as quick as possible. Plus we need to do an episode for the week after as well.

That recording takes place after the Lab Rat workshop at SAK which I’ll have to duck out of early to make it work.

We’re also in the process of incorporating Trick Media, so I have to research and submit the paperwork for it.

And lastly, I have to submit my taxes on Friday with the paycheck.

Yeah, it will be one of those days.

Last night K and I were enjoying “Ace of Cakes” on the Food Network. It was last Thursday’s episode and on it they were making a cake for Avenue Q.

Back in December, when she and I had gone to New York for the Magic the Gathering world championships K and I had wanted to see them on Broadway. Unfortunately at the time we didn’t really know what we were doing when it came to the tournament coverage and the timing worked out that we could have gone but missed the chance. She was a really good sport about it all but I know that she really wanted to see it.

Fast forward to yesterday. While we’re watching the show I launch the laptop and check their tour dates. Sure enough, wouldn’t you know it, they’re performing over in Tampa this week!

As soon as I told her I realized I should have held it back as a surprise and just taken off for Tampa once I had her in the car. But alas I opened my mouth and now we both get to enjoy four days of text messages of “OMG, Avenue Q on Fri!”

Yes, we’ll be there dear friends, balcony seats but it is going to be guaranteed fun!

OMG, Avenue Q on FRIDAY!
