We’re seven days in for my 30 days of Wii Fit and I’ve had positive results so far even though I had two days in a row without working out. As of last night’s measurement I’m down 6 lbs. from when I started. I don’t  really believe it, maybe 3 or 4 but even that seems unlikely. Who knows, my body might be in overdrive. » Read the rest of the entry..

K and I managed to finally snag ourselves a Wii Fit. I’ve been on the hunt for one for over a month and Friday we managed to snag not one but two, allowing us to at least halve the cost of our own one.

Saturday we sat down and played with it for the first time and I’ve committed myself to “30 Days of Wii Fit.” I’m going to eat right, and do at least 10 minutes of Wii Fit everyday for the next month. Probably more as I get going, but I can do 10 minutes on the thing no matter how busy I am. And we’ll see how it goes. If this month shows improvement, then I’m considering another 30 day project of Wii Fit + Wii Boxing which can work up quite a sweat. » Read the rest of the entry..

I wake up, check my email, then walk Mattie. She’s so happy though sometimes she would rather stay inside with K than go out for her morning walks. But K is either gone or going to sleep a few more hours, so it’s best if I take Mattie outside.

Off to work I head, listening to podcasts, either my own or other people’s. I know some people who never listen to their own podcast, I have to. I want to hear it, I want to find flaws and ways to make it better.

Work goes on, we’re doing more sites with the same concepts. It’s not too exciting right now, though I am working on a viral marketing idea for us. I’ll share details later. Largely I work on my Magic the Gathering podcast, ManaNation after work when I’m not on the couch with K.

Some nights I’m filming for ManaNation. Tuesdays is usually the improv workshop at SAK and then filming. Wednesdays I usually record on Skype with WhatTheCast. Thursdays are unscheduled. Fridays are sometimes D&D with Doug and Laura and others from church. Saturdays usually are some tournament once a month. Sundays I go to church in the morning and then lunch with dad or K and Chrissy. Mondays are usually open, depending we might try to schedule time with friends.

I love spending time with Mattie and K. I’m beginning to make time to play more Magic, as much as I work on the site podcast and talk about the game, I play surprisingly little. Then I go and get frustrated when I don’t do well. Stupid. Play more = get better.

I would love to work for myself. It’s no secret and I feel safe publishing this on the blog. I’m an entrepreneur at heart, I just haven’t had the means to pursue any ideas really. The podcast is my first venture and it could eventually turn out to be quite profitable.

I have an idea for a dot-com, I’m not ready to leak the concepts yet. I’ve mentioned it in discussions with people but mostly in passing and I don’t think anyone realizes what it is, but I think it may do best being developed in LISP. Sure I could do it in PHP or ASP.Net but the concept and infrastructure I have planned may be best suited to LISP. God help me.
