How my Blogging has Changed

I used to be fascinated by checking my old blog posts and looking at how my writing had changed, how I had changed tone, diction, and content. I used to blog for attention, writing multiple posts in a day because on my blog I had a voice. Over the years I’ve changed. I’ve gained my own confidence and I’ve changed what I think is important to blog about.

My brother emailed me earlier this week and noted that I’ve slacked on my blogging as of late. It’s true. After emailing him back I sat down and tried to write a post. Then I erased it and tried again the next day. Erased it and tried again the next day. Every day I’ve sat down trying to write a blog post.

I could write about D*C but in truth it’s mostly uninteresting, lots of working the convention, a bit about drunken laughter, some notes about a speeding ticket I earned. I could write about work, but now that I work online, it seems kind of silly and much of what I do is unseen currently. I could write about K but that’s not the type of relationship we have.

So life goes on, the blog will as well. I’ll write more in the coming days and weeks though, so hang in there.
