American Gladiators

Well it’s finally back and I’m happy to say that I loved the pre­mier. No, it wasn’t per­fect, but I had some fears if the show would be too over the top or would be WWE wrapped in a new pack­ag­ing. So far though it’s off to a good start.

1. Hulk Hogan is not my choice for announc­ers, but I think I can bear him for a while.
2. Assault was a much smaller course than orig­i­nally and I’m not sure how I feel about that.
3. The Glad­i­a­tors are mem­o­rable, Wolf of course steal­ing the show I think, though Jus­tice needs to learn a few new catch phrases as he uttered his mul­ti­ple times dur­ing Assault. “Yeah Boi’ Now what!” Oh well, I can deal.
4. I don’t know if K was enjoy­ing the show, or just enjoy­ing me enjoy­ing the show — either way we both had fun watch­ing it.
5. I think this is going to kick off some new work­out reg­i­mens in peo­ple. We’ll see.
