Now finished with its second season and hosted by Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman, this show is America’s answer to the Great British Bake Off. It’s a positive and joyful romp through crafting and creating. Light weight, it’s like a lemon sorbet for my soul which reinforces my desire to make 2020 my year of being a maker. 5 out of 5 glue guns.
Netflix dropped season 2 of their Lost in Space series on Christmas and last night I finished it. I think I’d honestly prefer if the series was a monster of the week, more close to what the original had been. But, that said, I have really enjoyed the show and was engaged all through the second season. 4/5 space robots.
As much as I was underwhelmed by Rise of Skywalker, The Mandalorian was very much something I enjoyed. At first I was convinced it should have been a movie rather than a TV series (well, streaming series) but over the eight episodes of the first season, I realized the homage it was paying to the Westerns of old and I settled in to enjoy where it took me. 5 out of 5 Mandos.
I’ve been watching a lot of streamed content as I sort cards in my Magic collection. I just finished season 1 of Netflix’s The Witcher and I quite enjoyed it. It was a little hard to follow as they wove it together, but I am looking forward to season 2. 4.5/5 unusually colored eyes.
Just watched the pilot of the new series and I find it intriguing. Plus it has Tim Blake Nelson, and he hasn’t had a role I haven’t loved.

I had read the first series of these comics a year or so ago and I really enjoyed this series. It has campiness and some cringe moments but overall a very fun ride for this first season.

I was only so-so on the first season, but I have really been enjoying the second season.

Just did a rewatch of Season 1 and there was so much I had forgotten. Parts still age fantastically and the cliff hanger caught me completely off guard. I had forgotten all about it.
Rating: So Say We All.
A fine way to spend a Sunday night, though some of the jokes were truly cringe-worthy.
A fantastic look behind the scenes of a club struggling and going through a major transition.
