Analogy : Thinking :: Motor : Car
I greatly enjoyed listening to this lecture about cognition and analogical thinking. Jump to 13:43 for when he starts talking.
Update:
After the lecture I was scrolling YouTube again and I saw that this is the author of Gödel, Escher, Bach. Which, (A) makes sense, and (B) has honestly been on my list to read for more than a decade.
I guess I need to finally dive into that massive tome... maybe. We'll see.
