It's been a while since I did a handwritten note on the blog. I wrote this last night while laying in bed in the afterglow of D&D with friends.

Aug. 18
Last night's sleep was not great. Big day at work today and I did the thing where I woke up every hour for three hours before giving in and getting out of bed at 4:45 this morning. Granted, I also had my first alarm of the day set for 5am, so it was close to the planned start.
But, overall, I feel good and am ready to tackle the day. Let's get to it!

Aug. 13, 2022 - Glowbug's Tag Synonyms

This morning has been nice and relaxed. Had a nice breakfast with family and then had to come back and do some "homework" as I have been tasked with teaching my niece and her son to play the Pokemon card game and I had to refresh on the rules.
After which I played a few games of chess. I lost most of them, so I switched to some coding. Glowbug now handles tag synonyms. If I rename a tag it saves the old tag info so that if I try to recreate that tag, it points to the synonym instead. Should help avoid some silly tag errors from occurring more than once. Hopefully.

Friday, Aug. 12
I have this idea to do occasionally handwritten but still digital blog entries. I don't have a compelling reason other than that I think it might be interesting to do for small mundane sort(s) of posts.
So far, figuring out the app to do it is my first big hurdle. This one is being done in Sketchbook which is close to doing what I want, but I am going to keep looking.
We will see where this idea goes.
