The bed looked, to me, like a scene of a crime last night. I had the worst night of sleep I've had in a very long time. Partially due to my own body's aches and pains keeping me tossing and turning. And secondly because of the soft bodyless pillows which hotels insist on using. I much prefer pillows with more substance. Between these two things I tossed and turned and woke endlessly through the night.
Needless to say, I am eager to sleep in my own bed tonight.

The Booksellers (2019) - 2.5/5 Rare Books
Watched from LA to Seattle today. I came across it on Amazon Prime and downloaded to my plane for the flight.
Overall it was interesting, but there was no central tentpole aside from looking at rare book buyers, etc. It starts to suggest books are dying, then it points out they aren't. It says the book buyers are the final generation, and then has some who are optimistic.
It was an interesting insight into these people, but yeah - it meandered and left me at the end wondering what I could have watched instead.

I learned of this poem while watching a CNN documentary about landing on the moon. A poem about the frustration of seeing all the money and resources that went into the space race while there were very real social and cultural problems which remained.

In preparation of Reddit's blackout, I added it to my home firewall as a blocked domain. I understand Reddit's position, but their stance and handling has been absurdly bad. There has to be a protest to change things and get them to rethink how it can be done and especially how it can be handled.
